Splendid Productions is a theatre company and an education company. We create challenging, vibrant theatre for young people, but we also provide expert training in all areas of drama from Practitioner theory to Presentation skills.

Since we began in 2003, we have gained an excellent reputation for both the inventiveness of our performances and the clarity of our teaching. We’re a small company and our priority is providing consistent, high-quality work for a growing band of regular clients. We’d love for you to be one of them!

New tour for 2012/13

We have just selected the play for our Autumn 2012 - Spring 2013 tour. It will be a creative adaptation of the medieval morality play 'EVERYMAN'.

We're just at the beginning of devising and adapting process, but expect a fast-moving, contemporary and highly theatrical investigation into the question 'what makes people moral'?

Full details will follow soon, and our annual marketing will be sent out towards the end of May, but the tour will be running across England and Wales from September 2012 until April 2013, as a one-hour performance followed by a 90 minute or 4 hour workshop. Truly Splendid Double Bill - Greenwich Theatre, 16 April

Thank you to everyone who came to Greenwich Theatre on 16th April to see our double bill of Ben Hales' new play 'There's a Leak!' and Splendid's 'Medea'. We had a lovely time, and here's a bit more about both shows, as reviewed by Gary Naylor at Broadwayworld.com.

We are pleased to announce the DVD and script of our new production Medea are available now at at the Splendid Shop.

Filmed at The Albany, Deptford last November, the DVD is a detailed, multi-camera record of the show - it's almost as good as being there yourself!
